シックス・クローヴスは、信州北アルプス山麓のリンゴ農家に生まれた平林園枝女史が、カリフォルニアで手掛けるワイナリーです。”繊細な味覚を持つ日本人にも愛される、カリフォルニアの風土を表すワイン”をコンセプトに、ワイン造りを行っています。ものづくり精神の継承の意味を込め北陸の薬屋であった先祖の屋号”六丁子”にちなみ”Six Cloves”と名付けられ、そのCloveをパッケージに表現しました。

 

“Six Cloves” is a winery founded by Ms. Sonoe, born into an apple farming family at the foot of the Northern Alps in Shinshu, Japan, and now operating in California. The concept of the winery is to create wines that represent the terroir of California and are beloved by Japanese with delicate palates. The name “Six Cloves” was chosen in honour of the ancestral business name of a pharmacy in the Hokuriku region, symbolising the continuation of the spirit of craftsmanship. The Clove is expressed on the packaging to reflect this concept.
