毎日コーヒーを飲む中で、私の頭に浮かび上がってきたきたイラストです。シンプルなシルエットは時間をかけず、瞬時に情報伝達をしてくれます。「要素をどれだけ引き算できるか」を重点的に考え、コーヒー豆を描かずに「コーヒー」を伝えられるイラスト制作に取り組みました。色のバランスが取れるように、カップより面積が広いものを置きたかったのでコーヒーポットを重ねることにしました。イラストがどのように活用できるのか、VIデザインの展開例を制作しています。また、テキスタイルやインテリアなど、日常生活にも馴染んでくれると思います。

While drinking coffee, an illustration came to my mind. Simple silhouettes convey information instantly without taking up too much time. Focusing on how many elements can be subtracted, I worked on creating an illustration that conveys ‘coffee’ without depicting coffee beans. To balance colours, I decided to stack coffee pots as they have a larger area than cups. I created examples of how the illustration can be used in VI design. I believe it will also fit well into daily life, such as in textiles and interiors.
